Even moments of frustration have purpose. Your ability to move through dark valleys represents a willing heart.
Unpleasant times can be overwhelming and hard. Low points have the potential to make you feel indecisive and small.
𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞’𝐬 𝐧𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐚 𝐯𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐝 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐳𝐞 𝐰𝐡𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐚𝐫𝐞. When life says no, faith says yes.
Refresh your beliefs. You’re allowed to move through challenges with ease. Dance until you find a rhythm of knowing what needs to be nourished + what needs to go.
Despite the detours, you’re still on a mission to heal. I encourage you to always speak life, live consciously, and work through your gifts.
Emotional freedom is the goal. Root yourself in 𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐞.
Disorder and damaging emotions stem from areas of brokenness and bitterness. Expecting apologies and closure prevent us from creating and thriving.
We can hide our truth from the world. We can’t hide from our truth. We can’t afford to mismanage blessings. We can’t allow entitled beliefs to test the depth of our faith.
We can’t afford to limit new energies. To be fully empowered we need warm love, true affirmations, kept promises, gentle conversations, and good fruit.
The beauty of surrendering your pride will advance you in ways you never could’ve imagined. Positive change, order, and purpose will spark a brave boldness you never knew existed. Honor all versions of you. Invite loving thoughts. Set clear intentions. Be patient with yourself.
Affirm: 𝐌𝐲 𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐝 + 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐢𝐳𝐞𝐝 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐠𝐨𝐨𝐝𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬.
Celebrate yourself. Nobody knows what it takes to be you.
Bring more wellness into your life by giving yourself permission to feel exceptional. Choose to celebrate your efforts + all that you’ve accomplished so far.
Encourage and empower the many layers of who you are at this very moment. Give yourself credit for the countless ways you’ve challenged adversity alone.
Applaud yourself for how you continue to show up with a fiery spirit + a heart of gold. Visualize what it looks like to celebrate your uniqueness on a daily basis.
• tap into gratitude • surrender the desire to criticize • avoid the urge to compare • reassess your WHY • reflect on proud moments • speak kindly to yourself • focus on your inner strengths
The complexity of self-love is real. The hunger for progression exists. Take time to find joy in your journey. Rest in comfort + assurance that all is working out for your ultimate good.
Born2Love would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every honorable spirit who contributed to this year's community giveback event, “Holiday Love: Toy Drive". Because of your generosity, we were able to fill over 300 requests for toys.
During these challenging times, single mothers fight to keep the holiday spirit alive. With doses of love and your continued support, we can help them transform their moments of hardship into stories of victory. Thank you for believing in our mission and joining us on this journey.
Born2Love has shifted gears and revamped our vision. Born2Love’s advanced initiative will focus on supporting Single Mothers of Color. We aim to prepare Single Mothers of Color with tools to lead a life of independence without government assistance. We plan to serve through resources and referrals for housing, employment, nourishment, self-help workshops, and immediate needs. We will provide a safe platform that offers aid, guidance, space, and support.
Marcia and I are mothers and caregivers who were raised in households headed by single mothers. Single moms are a different kind of superhero. Often the most criticized, overlooked, and still, expected to succeed. These women are the backbone to our communities.
Born2Love is joining the fight to say,
“You are not alone!”
While our eyes have adjusted, our hearts will ALWAYS belong to the community as a whole. We will continue to participate and partner with local events and organizations in giving back to the community in all capacities. Thank you for your support!
Born2Love believes God's light moves on earth through people. Born2Love pledges to always provide communities with the support and tools needed to lead a purpose-filled journey.
The path to a successful race is slow and steady. Our goal is to build a concrete foundation based on mobility and stability. Promoting self-empowerment and influencing wealth creation are not small tasks. There are many guides to giving. With tests of faith and aggressive effort, we aim to aid in ending the conversation of poverty-stricken environments.
We are moving in the right direction. With your continued support, we are working together for the common good. Thank you for believing in our mission and joining us on this journey!
August is Black Philanthropy Month which centers celebration, charity, and giving among people of African descent. The goal is involve, inspire, and invest by strengthening Black communities around the globe.
August is also known as National Black Business Month. Founded by historian John William Templeton and engineer Frederick E. Jordan Sr, the focus is to encourage, learn about, and support African American-owned businesses across the country. According to the U.S. Census bureau, Black business owners only account for 10% of U.S. businesses. Let’s change the narrative!
Last but certainly not least, Black August was established in the 1970’s by Black political prisoners. The month honors fallen Black revolutionaries, Black resistance, Black resilience, and Black freedom fighters of the past and present.
We can continue to honor the spirit of Black August by educating and advocating forward movement in exploration, public safety, social justice, and unity!
If you’ve ever taken on the role as an underdog, you’d understand the temptation to give up is much easier than putting forth effort to succeed. In the past, you’ve lived in fear of failure from expectations placed over your life. Neither your upbringing or current lifestyle suggests you’re ordained for greatness. Some may even say, “you’ve been counted out.”
Just for a moment, lets travel to a safe space where damaging thoughts and judgement disappear.
-How would your world change?
-What goals would you conquer?
-How could God use your faith to shift the world?
We ARE fully equipped with the tools needed to access our unlimited potential. Stored passion is waiting to be enhanced and released. Your unique capabilities are anxious for the opportunity to thrive. Living life unapologetically begins with restructuring our belief system.
Choose to dismantle illogical thinking by never settling for the bare minimum.
With God by our side, anything is possible.
If we’re only good to those who are good to us, what have we earned?
When we make a choice to stay angry, bitter, or resentful, we decrease our power to thrive. We miss opportunities for self-expansion. We fall short of nurturing our highest qualities and abilities.
The act of holding a grudge occurs when we’ve been distracted by untamed emotions. Heightened emotions are triggered by thoughts we create. The emotions that arise when we feel wronged or betrayed are not the issue. The way we interpret and respond to these events are what set the tone for personal dissatisfaction.
To be freed from anything we must first own our truth. Learn to forgive yourself for what you have and have not done. Forgive others for what they have and have not done. Forgiveness is not about settling for acts of wrongdoing or missed expectations. Forgiveness is about overcoming potential anxiety, depression, and rage.
It’s about removing any bondage over our spirit and making conscious decisions to live life on our terms without external influence. As we work toward our goals, let's allow love to be the foundation of everything we do.
Before we close out the month of June, B2L wants to shine a light on the importance of Men’s Health Month. The purpose of Men’s Health Month is intended to encourage awareness of unseen or neglected health challenges that men experience.
Suicide is the 2nd leading cause of death for males ages 10-34. The overall suicide rate for men is four times higher compared to women. According to researchers at the National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS), a study on 21,000 American men revealed 1 in 10 men experience depression and anxiety. Less than half of those men followed through with proper treatment.
Unattended emotional challenges can hinder a man’s ability to successfully navigate through society and within his family. Promoting avenues of assistance and resources can increase chances of early detection and treatment for preventable health issues.
Let’s work together to fight cultural stigmas and offer nonjudgmental support to the men in our lives.

Kindness affects the user and the recipient. It increases happiness by improving relationships and connections. It has the potential to boost heart health and slow down the aging process. The act of goodwill is especially attractive when genuine,
Many of us mask our hurt and failures. We've been witnessed tough times, broken down by life ,and hanging on by a thread.
A few words of love can lift someone's spirit from even the lowest circumstance. Our differences don't make us superior or inferior to one another. There is something to be learned from every person, every experience.
Plant smiles. Grow laughter. Harvest Love.
The importance of healing is to reclaim our stored personal power. We begin reclaiming our power by unraveling memories, emotional beliefs, and experienced traumas contributing to the makeup of who we are today.
⠀
The goal is to identify and process deep rooted patterns that prevent self-expansion. Changing the tone of our thoughts, eliminating negative influences, embracing kindness, and compassion all play a role in the levels of goodness we receive.
⠀
Because every day won’t be extraordinary and unwanted circumstances will occur, what will your perspective be? What will you choose to believe about yourself and the world around you?
⠀ ⠀
In the meantime, focus on your peace, your growth, and your future. Everything else will fall into place.

In the past year, HUD studies conducted in cities across the nation reported more than 106,000 children were homeless. A large number were placed in shelters or temporary housing, while almost 11,000 remained living outside. Some remained outside by choice due to a decreased risk of contracting the covid-19 virus.
Since the start of the HUD yearly report, numbers of adults living outside (209,413) exceeds the amount of individuals living in shelters (199,478). These numbers do not include recent totals.
With the recent approval of the 1.9 trillion relief package, many communities hope the homeless assistance, emergency rental aid, and housing vouchers will soon soften the blow of this national crisis. Let’s continue to look for new ways to pay it forward and keep them in our prayers.

Life can deliver a wide range of challenges for us individually and as a community. Volunteering your time is terrific way to build strong connections while boosting self-confidence levels.
Getting in tune with our passions can help impact and transform the lives of others. By sharing our personal goals and talents, we’re provided with genuine fulfillment in return.
Whether it’s tutoring children, passing out free groceries, or assisting with administrative tasks for a local organization, volunteers choose to lead with love.
“The world is changed by your example not by your opinion.” -Paulo Coelho
What beliefs do you stand for?
How do you serve the people around you?
What will your legacy be?
Leaving a mark on this world can’t be done while remaining comfortable and silent. Your truth is your story. Your authentic power requires exposure.
As we spring into April, let’s continue to spark influence by honoring our strengths and areas of passion. Your true self is sometimes the only model needed to make a positive print in someone else’s life. Acknowledging your ability to accomplish extraordinary tasks helps to spread the same mind-blowing awareness and shake up the conversation of societal differences.
You are the bridge to a better tomorrow. Be a light.
Hey friends! How’s your vibe feeling and looking these days? Are you excited for breakthroughs or distracted by setbacks?
It’s easy to lose sight of the big picture when we’re focused on circumstantial disappointments. If we’re not careful, low energy days can lead us down a rabbit hole of unwanted thoughts. In these moments, it’s extremely important to create our own personal environment where we can reflect without conviction, a safe space.
A place where we can dive into beneficial intentions and unknown creativity without outside influence. To proactively serve positive concepts and tap into a spirit of gratitude. Stay focused. We’re rooting for you!
“Never apologize for being a powerful woman!”
Women’s History Month is here! Since March of 1987, the celebration of women’s contributions to culture, history, and society are recognized internationally.
The observance of women’s struggles and achievements first began with International Women’s Day and Women’s History Week in 1978. At that time, the primary goal of the National Women’s History Alliance was to incorporate more teachings of women’s history in school curriculums.
Every Women’s History Month has a theme. The theme of 2021 is, “Valiant Women of the Vote: Refusing to Be Silenced.” The focus is on women's political involvement and leadership.
In honor of Black History Month, we’re highlighting African American Hero, Timothy Thomas Fortune. Born into slavery and later freed in 1863 by the Emancipation Proclamation. Fortune was a radical civil rights leader, journalist, writer, and editor.
The Harvard University attendee became the founder of one of the first civil rights and nonprofit organizations, National Afro-American Council, established during the 19th century Civil War era. Popularizing the term “African American,” the organization pressured legislative attacks on lynching and anti-segregation laws throughout the country.
Making impactful changes, he worked alongside other prominent crusaders; Ida B. Wells, W.E.B. Du Bois, and Marcus Garvey. Fortune is recognized as a great Negro leader, a frontline speaker for the equal rights of all Black Americans.
We hope your 2021 is off to a healthy start! This is your friendly reminder, that Born2Love, Inc. is here to stay and excited to see what God has in store for us next. We’re actively planning and preparing current administrative projects and future community events.
